A concrete crew does not want a black asphalt product drying on a gray slab. Unique needed a video that says this filler is for concrete, and that a crew can put it down without a long shutdown. Beacon made that a jobsite how-to, in under four minutes.
The video says the filler is a modified asphalt emulsion, gray so it sits closer to the color of concrete, and fuel resistant, which is why they point it at joints around fuel pumps. It also says tools clean with soap and water, and that the area can be opened to traffic within 30 minutes. Those are the product's instructions and claims. They are not a Beacon field result. The label still governs the job. The video gives a crew the order of work so the first pour is not a call back to the plant.
Another company hiring Beacon for a how-to is buying the video a distributor can hand over before the first order is used. A data sheet can list adhesion, temperature limits, and how wide a crack can be. A foreman on a damp slab usually will not read that far. The video can. It can live on the product page, in a dealer portal, or in the email that goes out with the first pail.
Unique did not need another line that says the product is easy to apply. They needed the crew to see that this filler is meant for concrete, and that the pavement is supposed to open again soon after it goes down. That is what this video is for.
