Hawk CGR-GWR Reveal Video 2.0
A buyer who already uses guided wave radar does not need another lesson in radar. They need to hear the one thing that is different, and they usually get a data sheet instead. HAWK's video starts with the line the future is here, then says what the company wants known. This is the industry's first guided wave radar level transmitter with power over ethernet. The video then walks the claims the company makes for the CGR. It says the transmitter is award-winning, with a level measuring range of up to 38 meters, or 124 feet. It says the reading is not affected by pressure, temperature, viscosity, vacuum, foam, dust, or a change in dielectric constant. It says the transmitter can measure an interface. Guided wave, the video explains, sends a radar pulse down a probe, and that pulse can read a liquid, a solid, or the line where a low dielectric meets a high one. Then the video returns to the connection. It says the CGR is the first and only guided wave radar on the market with power over ethernet. It says that connection is for remote monitoring, and for optional remote setup, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. It says the instrument can be watched from somewhere else, with network security and a real-time web portal. It closes by pointing to the website or the phone number on the screen. Another instrument maker hiring Beacon for this kind of video is buying a minute and a half that puts one new connection in front of people who already know the category. The data sheet can still carry the range. This is the video that says why this transmitter is the one with ethernet. HAWK did not need a plant tour. They needed the power-over-ethernet claim said next to what the instrument measures. That is what this video is for.
