A donate button does not tell a coach why this person is asking. The mission statement is the same on every page. The reason is not.
Jason Adkins's video for Fellowship of Christian Athletes is the ask in his own voice. He has been an athlete, a coach, and an official, and he says the hope he wants in sports does not come from the sport. It comes from a relationship with Christ, brought in through FCA. He names one way that shows up. Huddles, where athletes and coaches study inside the schools. He also names an all-abilities camp, for kids with disabilities. The close is specific. Search his name on MyFCA.org, or use the email on the screen.
Another ministry hiring Beacon for this kind of video is buying a partner ask a staff member can send without starting the story over. A list of camps can live on the site. The reason a particular person is asking only lands when they say it. The video is that ask, and it tells the partner where to go.
Jason did not need a catalog of every sport. He needed someone who might partner to hear him once. That is what this video is for.

[00:00.000] Hello, my name is Jason Adkins, and I wanted to first say thank you for taking the time
[00:10.320] to watch my video.
[00:11.880] I've been involved in sports in one way or another.
[00:16.320] As an athlete, coach, or even an official throughout most of my life, I married my best
[00:21.960] friend and we have six beautiful kids.
[00:25.340] All of our kids are actively involved in sports and have been most of their life.
[00:30.300] Having these experiences with sports has allowed me to see that there is an urgency of hope.
[00:36.180] A hope that doesn't come from the sport itself, but from something greater, a relationship
[00:42.740] with Christ.
[00:44.940] So I want to ask you, how do we bring hope into the sports community?
[00:50.780] Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an organization that brings hope into the sports community.
[00:56.060] FCA's mission and vision are to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence
[01:02.840] of coaches and athletes, by leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship
[01:10.060] with Jesus Christ and His church.
[01:13.540] Sports gave me so many good qualities, but most were from the world, and the hope I searched
[01:18.980] for in belonging and winning did not last.
[01:23.980] Finding Christ and accepting Him as my Lord and Savior gave me an everlasting hope that
[01:31.100] no sport could ever offer.
[01:34.100] Some of the ways FCA is establishing everlasting hope is through huddles, where athletes and
[01:40.440] coaches can study God's Word inside the schools.
[01:45.060] FCA also has different camps, where athletes learn skills related to the sport and have
[01:50.980] opportunities to grow closer to Christ.
[01:54.020] FCA offers these huddles and camps for all sports, such as cheerleading, wrestling, football,
[02:00.740] and even marching band.
[02:02.660] We also have an outdoor FCA camp for hunting, fishing, rock climbing, and other outdoor
[02:09.500] sports.
[02:10.660] But one of my favorite camps that FCA holds is an all-abilities camp, where kids with
[02:15.980] disabilities are given the opportunity to participate in sports and learn about Christ.
[02:24.020] There is an urgency of hope and peace in our sports, schools, and community.
[02:29.900] FCA and my team will have these opportunities to build relationships and partner with the
[02:35.860] schools to share the gospel.
[02:39.340] So I'm asking you to please consider becoming a partner on my FCA team.
[02:44.540] There are so many hearts that need to be cultivated by the Holy Spirit.
[02:48.780] Christ has changed our hearts.
[02:50.540] Let's allow Christ to change the coaches and athletes' hearts and grow the kingdom.
[02:56.940] Please visit MyFCA.org and search Jason Adkins to partner with me, or send me an email at
[03:04.260] the address you see below.
[03:07.780] Thank you again, and God bless.
