Citadel 12-17-16 – Part 1

A winter concert is the record of an evening, not a description of one. Part 1 of Citadel's December 17, 2016 performance runs about forty-two minutes. The audio is the performance. It opens on a processional and then stays with the music. There is no host introducing each number, no list of dancers read aloud, and no speech at the end you could turn into a program. A studio or a school hiring Beacon for a recording like this is buying the first half of the night for families who want to watch it again. A highlight reel can promote next year. It cannot stand in for this part of the concert. Citadel did not need a narrator between the pieces. They needed the performance kept. That is what this video is for.
